A complex residential project will involve an architect, a structural engineer and a builder. In all likelihood there will be an interior designer, quantity surveyor and an AV specialist. Beyond that there may be an M&E consultant, lighting designer, landscape architect and numerous specialist suppliers. That is a lot of very capable people – But who is actually managing the project?

Successful builders and project managers have always understood that complicated construction
cannot be left until you are on site and underway, with the missing details simply worked out as
you go. Don’t be fooled into thinking that your residential project is ‘not that complicated’, because
it is.

We all know what we perceive quality to be. By definition, it’s the degree of excellence, standard, or grade of something. You know when you see it, feel it and experience it. Sometimes it’s understated, other times it has the ‘wow’ factor.
